It was only a matter of time before Ed Sheeran and UK Grime superstar, Stormzy, came calling. Finally, our rightful spot at the forefront of popular culture has been acknowledged.
Joking aside, we were approached to be the tailor in the video for their latest collaboration, taken from Ed’s new EP No 6 Collaborations Project. Naturally, we were happy to oblige.
Providing a selection of suits and demonstrating the finer aspects of the tailoring craft, our MD James Sleater features on hand stitching. Savile Row Head Cutter, Stephen Allen, gets the most screen time. Getting up close and personal he can be seen measuring the stars and cutting their cloths.
Filmed over the course of a day in the English countryside, the shoot was covered in the UK’s Metro newspaper. Among snaps of the singers happy at work and behind the scenes they captured James’ arrival, bespoke suits in tow, in one of our vintage Cad Land Rovers.
Understandably impressed with our handiwork, you can expect to see our bespoke suits featuring on the red carpets soon.
